Skills Bootcamps continue in Digital and Technical careers
Following the successful launch of the first Skills Bootcamp in Cornwall in July, Truro and Penwith College is continuing its partnership with Train4Tomorrow to offer free Skills Bootcamps in Digital and Technical careers (truro-penwith.ac.uk) that will provide employed and unemployed adults with sector specific skills and fast-track job interviews with local employers.
The College will be delivering Skills Bootcamps in Computer Programming, Digital Marketing and Welding and is keen to receive applications for the dates below, at which attendees will receive full details on the course content from subject specialist and access to careers guidance.

The new trailblazing Skills Bootcamps are part of the Government’s £2.5 billion investment in the National Skills Fund to help adults gain skills to improve job prospects, support economic recovery from Covid-19 and supply future skills that employers need.
Individuals who are unemployed or are seeking to change their career can access the programme for free while employers can also take advantage of Skills Bootcamps for professional development, with a required contribution of 30% of the course fee and a commitment to changing their employee’s job description within six-months of the training.
